The ‘Phoenix Wing’ is an ultra-modern aluminum art designed and created by the famous Cincinnati artist, our artisan. A custom sculpture that represents the wing of an immortal beast, this piece is made up of a single sheet of metal rising from an oval base that supports the whole sculpture. The sheet of metal was shaped and fashioned to recreate a wing of a phoenix. Subtle lines along the sheet of metal were repeatedly grinded to mimic the texture of feathers, giving it an element of realism and more life-like movement. Different shades of orange and red were also used as it is the color of this mythological creature. Like the phoenix, this is a timeless piece that could withstand time, it may die but it will always comeback. This modern piece of metallic art is currently for sale in the artist’s gallery.
