Shearing’ is an abstract sheet metal sculpture designed and created by contemporary artist our artisan. A heat-tinted metal sculpture, it was colored by placing the sheet of metal under extremely high temperatures which resulted to different shades of orange. To add movement and texture, different layers of overlapping lines were grinded into the metal. A very simplistic crumpled design, it is like a sheet of foil which was trimmed by scissors. Torn and broken, it is still presented to other people since beauty can always be found even in the most disturbed. Endurance, the capacity to withstand hardships, this piece describes the ordeal of the hardships people encounter which makes them stronger. This piece of modern metallic design will beautify and accentuate the décor of modern spaces.
