Description
A unique rectangular sculpture designed and created by renowned Cincinnati artist our artisan, ‘Spectral Absorbption’ is a modern metallic mosaic that uses different sheets of metal to create one magnificent piece. The use of different patterns such as intersecting lines, smooth curved lines and various geometric figures contributes to the overall magnificence of the piece. The pattern on each sheet was painstakingly made by repeatedly grinding the sheet of metal until a beautiful pattern emerges. The use of varying colors on the three colored panes puts in another dimension to the piece. Similar to the spectrum of colors, different wavelengths were also used on each colored panel, as if representing its frequency. Nonetheless, it is a unique piece that adds character and grabs the attention of people.
