This abstract expressionist piece features a front panel which has been eaten away with a plasma torch to reveal a back layer, which has been ground with a rippling vertical pattern. The crisp, silvery natural aluminum in back contrasts nicely with the darkened surface, as if exposing a fresh layer beneath the surface.
